No reward here…this one is all about me!
Hey there! I am Ananya, a basic yet not-so-basic 17-year-old. I started this blog with the aim of helping and reaching out to students who like me, go through the wonderous yet terrifying experiences of being a student. I post the A to Z of being a student, from the nerve-wracking walk to the class on the first day to the delightful drive back home on the last day. I want to help students overcome difficulties which I as a student also face, I want them to be able to relate to my personal experiences or even have a good laugh at them.
As a 14-year-old, I have a lot that goes down in my life. I engage in lots of activities such as music, art, drama, etc. My passion for music increases day by day. I thoroughly enjoy singing, especially along with a guitar. I can play the guitar, ukulele and piano. I thoroughly enjoy reading all kinds of genres from the magical world of minotaurs and dragons, to books about world wars. I developed a liking for writing from a very young age. Writing has always been a stress reliever and a means of communicating my emotions which led me to start writing a diary. I have been writing diaries since the age of 7 and continue doing so, however, my favourite aspect of writing is songwriting, I love penning down little songs and hooks.
I have always been a girl who resides in a world of her own creation. As a kid, I dreamt of a world with rainbows, sparkles, stardust and unicorns, I lived in my own imagination and I still do. I could call myself a positive ambivert. I have always had belief in this simple yet extremely meaningful quote, ‘Nothing is impossible for those who believe,’ which interestingly I found on the back of my notebook about 7 years ago. Something that rather intrigues me is the thought that every second that goes by, everything changes. Every second, old cell in your body are replaced by new ones, every second that passes by becomes a part of history, every second 4,000 new stars are created, 6 new babies are born, and every second we get closer to the end of the world and our death, the list goes on and on. This thought made me realise that time is precious! Every second we waste, we lose it, and we cannot get it back!
I intend on posting twice a week, you can check out my blog Instagram account for more details at @snaginthebag. I love interacting with my readers and would love to hear your suggestions and recommendations, so feel free to hand them over to me. That is pretty much who I am, I would like to end my brief introduction with a little quote, “If you cannot be the poet, be the poem.” I hope you like my blog! 🙂
